In your life you encounter some rules that are Golden, rules that really apply. Once you find them you should always remember and don’t forget them. They can show you how throughout all your life. When you define your goals, begin searching for the Golden Rules that connect with it. Chart your course by these Golden Rules and allow them to guide you to achievement and success.

Here are 5 of the best Golden Rules that apply to learning how to play Online Poker for real money.

Golden Rule # 1, Be Patient at the table and always play tight before the flop. The main reason you might like to do this is that when you are new to poker, you avoid alot of difficult situations by folding marginal hands like 68 off suit and A2 suited. Once you become more experienced, you can expand your opening starting hand range but in the beginning, tight is always right.. Remember, if you play the top 12 starting hands in poker, you will always have a mathematic edge over your opponents who like to play junk hands.

Golden Rule # 2, Don’t play above your bankroll or with money you can’t afford to lose. It would be best to manage this carefully because the psychological effects of playing with money that you can’t afford to lose is immense, you will often find yourself making mistakes when you place too much emphasis on the value of your stack and what it can buy in the real world. Understand that you should only ever play with money that you can afford to lose.

Golden Rule # 3, Don’t play out of position. This might be a good idea because more experienced players will tear you apart when you start playing hands out of position, this means in early position or out of the blinds.

Golden Rule # 4, Don’t bluff too much.. If you want you can do this by carefully selecting your places to bluff and by setting up your bluffs so that 90% of the time you will have the nuts but on the odd occasion you can get away with bluffing. Bluffing too frequently is just putting chips in the middle with nothing and will get you nowhere.

Golden Rule # 5, Leave your emotions at the door. Ways to achieve this step include not playing above your bankroll, taking regular breaks, not playing when drunk, and remembering that a bad beat is a good thing because you’ve gotten your money in with the best of it.. You will want to do this carefully. It is essential to becoming a great poker player.

Carefully follow these golden rules to learning how to play online poker for real money and you will become a very profitable player. You will probably find you progress quickly to be quite a good player and your successes greater, more frequent and more satisfying.

This Texas Hold em Poker tips all about the need to play aggressive and how it will win you more hands of poker. Playing aggressive is imperative if you want to win more hands, take more pots, get more money and become a better poker player. Its imperative to the winning overall at No Limit Hold Em. Passive players may do alright for a while but to really take your game to the next level you need to play aggressively.

When your playing No Limit Texas Hold Em Poker, raise when your the first one to enter a pot. Don’t ever call the amount of the big blind, this is suicide. The slang for this limping, or limping in. When players limp they are saying ‘I want to play but I don’t know if my cards are good enough to win’. This is not a message you want to send to everyone. You need to take the lead. You need to say ‘I’ve got a great hand, anyone want to play with me?’

Poker is all about betting. If you are behind a player that limps in, raise him. When you raise someone who limps in, you are sending the message ‘My cards are better then yours’. The the flop comes. If the player who limped in just checks, raise him again. He is saying ‘I didn’t get the flop I want’ and you are replying ‘Woohoo I hit my flop, yes!’. No matter what you have this betting strategy will send a message to the player that you are doing great.

Taking the lead and raising will help you win alot more pots then if you just check or call. Remember, most of the time you aren’t going to hit the flop with your pocket cards. Yes, you are not going to hit the flop! However, you might continue to bet because you know that most of the time you opponent will not hit the flop either. By betting/raising you can often steal the pot from your opponent because he will think you have something. Usually the flop won’t hit either of you but by being aggressive you can usually steal alot more pots than if you are just checking.

Being aggressive is one of the most important things you can do to win pots and succeeed. Take this Texas Hold em Poker tips advice and be agressive the next time you play poker. Winning more smaller pots usually gets you more money then sitting and waiting for that perfect hand. You almost never get the perfect hand so just bet aggressively and make your opponent think you have something good.

Poker, in its essence, is a game of probability. And the number one thing you need to remember when playing poker is this: you want to bet lots of money when you are probably going to win. Of course, there is always the chance your competition will pull a very lucky card and get the bigger hand, but with all things being equal, when there is a high probability you are going to win, bet your money. A key thing here to remember is no one can control luck and you need to be playing your best all the time. You can’t play poker with a fear of betting because the other guy might get lucky. If you put your money in when you are the favourite for the best hand, you do that enough times and you end up winning in the long run. This is the first important thing to understand with pot odds, ok?

So, how do you know you have the best hand? This is where the mathamagic comes in. Don’t worry, understanding poker odds is just plain, basic maths. Nothing fancy like logarithmic-hoodiggies or algabraic-catscratchers, just basic math. Key point – you don’t have to be a great mathematician to be a great poker player. That’s the truth. You do however need a bit of a basic understanding of math to be a successful Texas Hold em poker player.

First things first, you need to be able to calculate your chances of getting ‘outs’. Outs are the cards you need to make the best hand you can, to hopefully win. These little guys are important because you need to win pots if you want to win money. You get the idea. So for an example. Say you have a pair of Kings and you are pretty sure your opponent has a pair of 10’s. The four community cards are something like 3-5-7-2. You know that your opponent needs a 10 to win. There is one card to go, the river. So for the calculamation: There are 52 cards in a deck. Eight of the cards have been used; your two, his two, four on the board, so their are 44 cards remaining. Two of those cards help you, so you are at 22-to-1 odds. Because only 2 of the cards in the deck will help your opponent, you are in fact a 22-to-1 favourite to win the pot, which puts your at a humungous advantage.

Understanding pot odds and outs, which is the probability you will get your best hand, is very important because it gives you information to make the correct moves. In the previous example you know, from pure probability, that you will win 21 times out of 22. So you can happily bet money and stay in the pot because overall, over the long run, you will win. You want the numbers to be on your side, thats the point this Texas hold em poker tips trying to get at.

Are you someone who likes playing cards? If you do then you don’t actually need a pack of cards anymore to do so. This is because there are various websites to be found on the internet that have wide selection for you to play online today. A few of these will require a small fee to be paid by you to play their games, but there are quite a large number of others that allow you to play them for free. In our guide to online card games we are showing you why this form of entertainment is becoming increasingly popular with people around the world.

First off there are not only card games available on the internet that are suitable for multiple players to participate in, but also ones that individuals can play on their own. When it comes to the online versions of games such as solitaire you will find that these are much more engaging. This is because they come with options that allow you to change the way the back of the cards look as well as the kind of surface on which you are playing.

If you want many of the websites where you can play card games offer a facility that allows you to compete against them. However by registering with a few of these websites it offers you the opportunity to actually take part in card games where you are competing against others from around the world. As you can see from this guide to online card games there are cases where you can team up with someone else in the world to play two person games that and you challenge another two man team.

Being able to play any sort of online card games including bridge and poker isn’t as difficult as you first thought. This is because with every single game you are provided with a complete set of instructions that you read before you begin playing. They not only help you to make the correct moves, but will clearly spell out the rules of the games you are playing.

When you begin playing online card games you are better of sticking with the simpler ones. Then as you feel more confident with the way you play then of course you can more on to card games online that are require more skill.

In our guide to online card games the types of games that we would recommend you pay in the beginning are ones like Blackjack, Hearts and Gin Rummy. When it comes to Hearts the aim of the game is to make sure that by the finish you are not left with any of the heart cards in your hand. If you do have any left then you will be penalized for doing so and for each heart card you hold you will receive one point when the game has finished.

If you’re looking to try some online card games then there are certainly quite a few to choose from. Especially in the UK where you can try at websites such as Jackpot Party where you can try various card games and other online games.

Texas Hold Em Poker is so complex. There are so many facets to the game you need to incorporate and play together to be successful. First I think it is important to make a few clarifications, which time and time again get people confused.

Aggressive: This is a descriptive word for a players betting style. It specifically relates to how to player bets. Aggressive players always raise and will often further re-raise a bet/re-raise. Aggressive players don’t often check or call. Aggressive players that always raise heavy on practically every hand are called a loose cannon. I’ll explain what loose means down below.

Passive: Another descriptive word for a players betting, again only relating to how the player bets. Passive players don’t often raise. They prefer to check or call. They will call another players raise but don’t often re-raise. A passive player that continually calls is called a calling-station. Passive players are more often then not very tight.

Next I want to clarify the following point. Tight and loose; these words essentially describe the types of cards or hands a player will actually bother playing.

Tight players only play the best hands, like good pocket pairs or premium cards (A,K,Q). They much prefer suited cards or high connectors as well. Tight players will fold if they don’t have extremely good cards. You can tell a tight player because they don’t often go to the flop. Another way to tell is to watch when they do go to the flop and if the flop isn’t full of highcards then you will usually see them fold.

Loose players on the other hand will play much worse cards. They are more likely to play middle cards, like middle pairs and middle suited connectors. They may even play lower pairs or complete dunce cards, depending on how loose they get and if they are incorporating a bluff or other strategy. You can tell a loose player because he is constantly playing pots. Seriously, no one can really get great cards every single hand unless they are on some kind of outta-this-world lucky streak, which usually doesn’t happen. The way they can play most hands is because they are playing when they have plain cards. This is an effective strategy because if the flop comes and its mostly low cards, all the people who only played with premium cards have nothing, but the loose player who has the low/middle cards suddenly has a two pair or trips etc.

The ability to understand other players is imperative for a good grounding when you are trying to learn Texas Hold em Poker. Just understanding the types isn’t good enough, you need to be able to watch people and pin them on a type and style. When you can do this you will be able to play better poker.

Not just one game but a mix of several poker types, HORSE poker contains phases of Texas Holdem, Omaha Eight, Razz, Seven Card Stud and Seven Card Stud Eight. It is a limit betting game but you can find in some tournament play that the limit is forgiven near the end of the tournament to pick up the pace. HORSE is one of the most visible games in the World Series of Poker and often seen in high stakes poker games to challenge the skills of players during multiple games. Felt to be THE game of games for poker professionals, HORSE demands a complex comprehension of the rules, systems and strategies of many games.

For those players unaccustomed to playing combination games, a concerted effort to educate oneself about the rules of methods of play is mandatory before placing that first bet. It’s true the game is a limit one but it is not difficult to stumble upon extravagant pots and bets on Horse tables particularly since game play can rapidly accelerate. Limits in Horse generally start at $2/4 and then the sky’s the limit. The limit stays across all rounds. Multiple limits can usually be found in casinos as they cater to the player new to the game right on up to the professional high roller.

The Hows of Horse Poker

If only one of the variants in HORSE is your forte, better stick to the low limit tables. The type of poker will change upon each rotation of the dealer button, where you will begin to play up to ten rounds of each variant prior to moving on to the next one. It will be greatly to your advantage to familiarize yourself with each type of poker involved in HORSE so you won’t fall on your face and empty your wallet. Horse poker involves the fundamentals of each of its variants, but you should vary your strategy according to your skill level at each type. Table and tournament varieties of the game are played where you find each of the following in combination:

*Holdem

This is most popular of the poker variations and is the highlight of the World Series of Poker. The object of this round-based game is to compile the highest five-card hand from five community cards and two hole cards. A player is allowed the use of none of his hands, one or both to get to the highest hand at showdown.

*Omaha Eight (Hi-Lo)

Four cards are dealt to each player and at least two of these cards combined with any three of five community cards must be part of the structure of the highest hand. Showdown pots are divided equally between the lowest and highest hands. The low hands must consist of cards between aces and eights.

*Razz Poker

A most unusual variant where the lowest possible hand gets the gold. It is somewhat akin to the low part of Omaha but there are no hand qualifications. The lowest high card is usually the winner, but a master of bluffing strategy can rule the pot as well.

*Seven Card Stud Poker

Another popular form of the game, where cards are dealt one at a time, some hidden, some visible. He who holds the highest-five card hand is king of the pot.

*Seven Card Stud Eight or Better

Same method of play as in Seven Card Stud but with a split pot for any player possessing the lowest (below eight) hand.

Do you know why more and more players are wanting to know how to play super aggressive No Limit Texas Holdem Poker? I think this is because everyone is catching on that an aggressive style of play is generally the most successful style of play. It sure beats being passive. Its actually quite easy to play super aggressive, you just have to stay within some guidelines.

Want To Know How To Play Super Aggressive No Limit Texas Holdem Poker?

The easiest way to play extremely aggressive No Limit Texas Holdem Poker is to always bet 5 times the big blind. Never ever check, never ever call, never raise the minimum amount or any other amount, just always bet 5 times the big blind. Your decision is very easy: fold or bet 5 times the big blind. This is super aggressive No limit Texas Holdem Poker.

But Before You Can Play Super Aggressive…

You better have decent cards. Playing extremely aggressive but playing very loose as well is a recipe for disaster. If you are deciding to play very aggressive you need to tighten up your game. You need to stick to good poker principles:

- Play the odds, the numbers
- Choose your starting hands carefully
- Don’t play post flop if you don’t have a good hand
- Calculate your odds and outs
- Pay attention to your opponents, their cards, styles of play etc
- Don’t get too loose

How To Play Super Aggressive And Loose At The Same Time

There is only one safe way to do this. First you play tight. Play good strong poker with good hole cards and play through the river with a good hand. After you have done this a couple of times you can start to loosen up slowly. Sneak pairs lower and lower down to middle pairs. Play high suited cards, then middle suited cards. Slowly lower the quality of the hands you play. By first playing extremely tight you will set a precedence. By continuing to always bet 5 times the big blind the other players will be scared to challenge you.

No Limit Texas Holdem Poker extremely easy once you know how to play super aggressive but you have to make sure that you do it correctly. Playing too aggressive can sometimes get you into trouble if you play too loose. Being able to handle the heat and keep your composure during massive pots is critical if you are ever going to succeed in playing super aggressive No Limit Texas Holdem Poker.
